Töre receives students from Türkiye – BRTK

Acting President and Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre received students visiting from Türkiye.

Speaking during the visit Töre explained the Cyprus problem to the students.

Acting President and Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre received students from the Kabakaya Anatolian Imam Hatip High School who came to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) from Ordu as part of a project.

Speaking during the visit, the teacher in charge of the project Engin Lafçı stated that they were in the TRNC within the framework of their project.

Acting President Zorlu Töre for his part pointed out that the TRNC is a Turkish state and that it is the duty of the entire Turkish nation to keep it alive.

Töre pointed out that the TRNC has been in freedom and security since the Peace Operation on July 20 1974 and stated that the continuation of Türkiye’s active and effective guarantorship is of vital importance for them.
